About Dr. James McDaniel
After receiving his B.A. at the University of Tennessee - Chattanooga, Dr.
James McDaniel received his D.D.S. and M.S. in orthodontics at the University
Dr. McDaniel stays abreast of the latest advances in orthodontics through
numerous continuing education courses and through memberships in the American
Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, Chattanooga Area Dental
Society, American Association of Orthodontists, Tennessee Association of
Orthodontists, and the Lookout Dental Study Club. Additionally, he is a
Fellow in the American College of Dentists. In 2007, he was named as an
Adjunct Professor of Orthodontics at the University of Tennessee, teaching the
next generation of orthodontists. In his time away from the office, Dr.
McDaniel enjoys golf, snow skiing, fly-fishing and spending time with his
grandchildren.
About Dr. Andrew McDaniel
Dr. Andy McDaniel grew up watching his father practice the art of orthodontics. Following his graduation from Baylor School in 1994, he obtained his undergraduate degree from Davidson College in North Carolina. Following graduation, he attended the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry,where he graduated at the top of his class in 2003. He and his wife moved to the midwest so that he could continue his training at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, where he was awarded a Certificate and Master of Science degree in Orthodontics in May 2005. Dr. Andy is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, Chattanooga Area Dental Society and the Lookout Dental Study Club. He is certified as a Diplomate by the American Board of Orthodontics. During his time away from the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Marla, and with sons, Owen and Wyatt. His hobbies include golf, fishing, skiing and Tennessee football.
